Rabia Alsabaie is a highly skilled and passionate professional with extensive experience in community development, education, and program management. With a Master's degree in Adult Education and Community Development from the University of Toronto, she has dedicated the nearly the past ten years to empowering individuals in the Regent Park community and beyond.
Rabia has developed, implemented, and facilitated numerous programs that address the unique needs of marginalized communities. Her expertise spans a wide range of services, including settlement support, affordable housing, youth empowerment, employment and skills development, human rights and equity, social justice, and more.

Rabia Alsabaie is a passionate advocate for community development and social impact. As the Program Manager at Neighborhood Information Post, she supports over 90 students and manages a team of 32 volunteers, ensuring that each participant thrives in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Rabia’s expertise in outreach and recruitment has successfully built partnerships with community organizations, agencies, and stakeholders to strengthen program outcomes.
In her role as Co-Chair of the Community Building Working Group in Regent Park, Rabia actively promotes accessibility and inclusivity. She has facilitated parent group discussions, led youth engagement workshops, and organized skill-building sessions for mothers affected by systemic challenges, including street violence.
Rabia’s multilingual abilities in English and Arabic, combined with her strong interpersonal communication skills, enable her to bridge cultural divides and connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds. She holds an MA in Adult Education & Community Development from OISE at the University of Toronto and a Postgraduate Certificate in Project Management from George Brown College. Rabia’s deep understanding of community needs and her dedication to empowering underserved populations make her an impactful leader in the Regent Park community and beyond.
